Peter Hong is an experienced and respected trial attorney. He started his career representing large corporations, public entities, and insurance companies in workers’ compensation and employment cases. His clients benefit from his experience and understanding of how insurance companies assess risk and value liabilities. In 2012, Mr. Hong shifted his focus to representing individuals in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims. He strives to achieve excellent results for his clients under difficult circumstances. Accustomed to working in high conflict situations, Mr. Hong is known for guiding his clients with a focused and compassionate approach.
Background and Education
Peter Hong earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Boston University. He holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and is admitted to The California State Bar. He represents injured workers throughout the state of California. Mr. Hong believes that the practice of workers’ compensation law should be about more than just achieving optimal financial results. Sustaining a work injury can be disruptive not only to the individual, but also to the entire family. The winning solution depends on a client’s unique situation, goals, and needs. He is a skilled negotiator and is often able to resolve issues outside of court. However, whenever necessary, he is a fearless and zealous advocate in court with a proven record of success.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Hong is an Associate Professor at California State University, Los Angeles. He is also a high school football coach.
